Description

Hello. I’m heading back to Uni in September and life as a poor student means, sadly, I need to move out of my Bethnal Green flatshare. I’m subletting my room for the remainder of the contract (landlord aware and will draw up a new tenancy agreement) which is up for renewal November 16th 2024. This would suit someone looking for something either short-term or long-term, as there is the potential to renew the tenancy come November.

The landlord will require proof of ID, proof of address, tenant and employment references from the new tenant.

I have set a provisional moving out date of Friday 16th August but this is flexible and I could leave sooner if that’s more convenient for the new tenant.

The Flat/Room:
The flat is a neutrally decorated, 4th floor (amazing views), three-bed, ex-council maisonette in the heart of the East End. It comes furnished, but if you have small furniture/kitchen stuff, we can have a conversation about that.

Downstairs: large hallway, kitchen, lounge/diner with balcony. Upstairs: three bedrooms, bathroom with bath/shower and a separate toilet.

The available room is a small double and comes with a double bed, desk and wardrobe. There’s not a huge amount of storage, but there is a cupboard in the hallway that you’d be welcome to use.

You’ll be sharing the flat with Oli, 45, who works full-time in the Judicial System and Michael, 33, a full-time student and part-time barista/photographer. They are both very easy-going and chilled, so we’re looking for similar.

Money:
Rent is £866.00 per month.

Bills currently break down as follows (per person, per month):
Gas/Electric: £49.84
Water: £18.64
TV Licence: £4.42
Broadband: Free until October, £9 each after that.
Plus, Council Tax (Band C)

The security deposit will be £866.00

The Area:
Bethnal Green is a fantastic and vibrant area of London. The flat is moments from Bethnal Green Road where you’ll find shops, cafes, bars, pharmacies, gyms and pretty much anything else you might need. There’s a great local pub nearby, a Tesco and Sainsbury’s not far, and a park across the road. Victoria Park is a 25-minute walk away and Brick Lane a 10-minute stroll.

Transport:
Shoreditch High Street Overground (Windrush Line), Bethnal Green Tube (Central Line) and Whitechapel station for the tube (District/Hammersmith & City Lines), Overground (Windrush Line) and the Elizabeth Line are all a 10-minute walk away. Bethnal Green Overground (Weaver Line) is a 5-minute walk. The D3, 8 and 388 bus routes all run close by. There is a Santander Cycles docking station across the road from the flat.

If you’re interested in viewing the flat, or have any questions, do get in touch with a bit about yourself, your situation and what you’re looking for.

Best wishes,

JP
