Description
Hi all,
We are a LGBTQ+ friendly household in the middle of Bethnal Green. Currently there is three of us living here in a three bedroom flat (Josh [moving out], Ben and Callum). Ben and Callum are both working professionals. I am planning to move out around the 21st of December, but am able to move out a little earlier if that would be required to get the perfect candidate.
Ben is working for the Guardian and spends his free-time running, doing CrossFit, learning French and growing his plants, which are scattered throughout the flat. Callum is equally an avid runner and enjoys going to the gym. Both of them are very social and enjoy the occasional flat dinner together, but equally enjoy their privacy. Both usually work from home twice a week on a flexible schedule.
The optimal flatmate would be in their mid twenties, a working professional, outgoing, up to social activities among the flatmates and LGBTQ+ friendly. We are looking for somebody that plans on stay for longer than a few months. Just to point this out, this is not a party flat, however, both Ben and Callum do go out frequently together.
The flat is very bright with a large living room and a nice little balcony with a few of the central London skyline. This is the same view you get from the room, which I am leaving. The flat has a separate toilet and bathroom, two fridges, a gas stove, a new washing machine, and ample storage space.
My room is the largest of the three and on the west side of the building. The room comes fully furnished, however, not with the furnishing seen on the picture. The tall table next to the door, the desk, the chair and the bed all belong to me. However, the room does come with its own basic desk, bed and chair which are currently in storage under the stairs. Given that I am moving out of the country I would prefer to hand the room over to somebody that would be interested in taking over these furnishing pieces. The furnishing originally belonging to the room is quite honestly not the greatest, but definitely usable. The wardrobes, the bedside table, the white cupboard in the background and some smaller pieces, however, come with the room too.
The flat is in a quiet area in Bethnal Green and is very well connected. Less than 10 minutes to the Bethnal Green Station with connection to the Central Line and 12 minutes from Stepney Green with connection to District and Hammersmith. There is loads of parks (Victoria Park, Mile End Park and Meath Gardens) and the canal around. The area is very safe and there is several large supermarkets close by and corner shops directly on the main road.
The cost of the flat would look as follows (Not including electricity and gas):
Rent: 880.6
Internet: 12.3
Water: approx. 13.5
Council Tax: 36.3
Cleaner: 30.4 (Coming twice a month and cleaning the entire flat including the rooms)
TOTAL: 973.1
We have just had a rent increase in June and are therefore not expecting any further increases any time soon.
Send a message describing yourself, your job, hobbies, expected rental period and whether you would be interested in taking the entire/some of the furniture (we can discuss the price at a later stage). The landlord is usually okay with people moving out on a 1 month notice, as long as they find a replacement.
All the best,
Josh, Ben and Callum
