My housemate is moving out when our lease expires mid-January. I’m looking for a new housemate to move in and sign another year’s lease with me from 13th Jan.
The Flat
- 9th floor canal side apartment with great views, new build so really warm and great lighting
- Double room with double wardrobes and your own bathroom (not an en-suite), window looking out onto the canal
- Open plan kitchen/ living area and balcony, comes furnished
- 10 min walk from either Bethnal Green or Mile End tube station
- 5 min walk to Viccy park
- Outdoor and underground bike storage
- I’ve lived here for 2 years and love it
A bit about me!
- I’m 32, easy going, sociable and like to be active. Life is busy so I value a chilled space and downtime at home
- I work in recruitment, I’m in the office 2/3 times a week
- Big foodie, love cooking and eating out
- I’m pretty mellow during the week, mostly work, gym, routine etc.
- I’m always out and about on weekends, seeing friends, going for food, drinking wine, outdoorsy things, the odd sesh - all sorts!
- Super clean and tidy, the kitchen gets blitzed every night

Looking for:
- Female in their late 20s to mid 30s, ideally a similar work office/ hybrid work pattern
- Someone who does their own thing but is still down to have the occasional pub night, end of day chats and up for cooking the odd meal together
- Someone who is chilled and up for sharing the space
- Must be clean and tidy and happy to muck in on the deep cleans
The DETAILS
- Rent is £1,175 per month + bills (c. £180 PCM)
- There is currently cladding works going on so the flat is surrounded in scaffolding, there’s a 5% rent reduction whilst the works are ongoing, expected to finish Aug 2025
- Deposit required
- There is a minimum earning of £35,250 in the tenancy clause
