Description
My lovely housemate is moving out in April, so there is a room available in my flat in Bethnal Green. The tenancy would need to be taken over from 28 April.
We are on the tenth floor so there are amazing views of the city: we can see tower bridge, the shard, all the towers of the city, bt tower, and then all the way up to ally pally. The flat came unfurnished but we have furnished it ourselves (god bless fb marketplace), but the room would be unfurnished. The flat has a large living room, a medium-sized kitchen, one shared bathroom (with views of Vicky Park), and a good sized entrance space which has a little cubby hole in it for extra storage for the room available as it is slightly smaller than my room. My current housemate has used it for storage so we've put a curtain up, but i previously had a desk in there when I was in the smaller room, so I've included a photo of that.
The estate itself is really sweet, and its mostly families in our building. There's a cute community garden which is open to volunteer at on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings in the summer. I would say the only downsides are, we don't have a freezer (though I could look into getting a little one if its a dealbreaker), and though we have a balcony, its a bit cold/windy to sit out there. Rent is £1000 a month each, and bills tend to be £138 a month all in.
You'd be living with just me. I'm a 32-year-old architect working in East London. I like to have evenings out at local bars/pubs as much as evenings in doing crafts (I'm a big sewer/knitter). Looking for someone who wants to keep the flat homely and sociable! If you're interested, just drop me a message with a bit about yourself and we can arrange a viewing!
