*** move-in date flexible, ideally between 6th September and 26th September ***
Hello,
We are looking for a new flatmate to join us in our 4-bedroom flat in Bethnal Green. We're three young professionals, two of us have been living together for 3 years and one new flatmate is joining us at the same time as you would! We are hoping to find someone who would want to create a friendly home, ideally longer-term. We have a preference for women/members of the LGBTQ+ community to join our flatshare.
✨️The room
This is the largest room in the house. There is plenty of space, and it is furnished with a double bed, a bedside table, an office chair, a desk with drawers, an in-built closet (with shelves, space for hangers, and additional storage space), a chest of drawers and some shelves next to the huge window.
The room is on the first floor of a maisonette. It is facing east so gets plenty of sunlight in the mornings. The window is facing a quiet residential street, and opposite there is an entrance to Meath Gardens.
✨️The flat
The flat has 2 bathrooms, and a huge shared living room combined with a well-equipped kitchen. (Council tax band C). Since we have been here for 3 years we can attest that the flat is in a very good condition and the landlord is very responsive and helpful. There is also a cash back incentive scheme if certain conditions are met upon moving out. The bills are not included and are about 100 pounds a month.
✨️The flatmates
As a flatshare we are slightly more on the introverted side, often spending weekends together watching movies (though choosing a movie is complicated between fans of musicals and horrors), playing board games and exploring nearby pubs & queer venues. We have parties from time to time, though these are always agreed and planned in advance. Current flatmates' hobbies include: crafts, arts. cinema, writing, non-fiction, running, gym and cooking.
We are looking for someone who would match our energy, is respectful and considerate, and wants to share responsibilities in the house so that it feels like a home :)
The flat is really well located - 8 minute walk from Bethnal Green station; 10-minute walk from Stepney Green station; 2 minute walk to a bus stop (routes to Liverpool Street and Shoreditch High Street). A big Sainsbury and a big Tesco are a 10-15 minute walk away, and there are a few corner shops directly next to the flat as well. We're located very close to the Victoria Park, and there's a lot of cool venues around.
If you are interested and would like to arrange a viewing, please message me.
