Description
I'm a 29 y/o cis woman working in the arts for 10+ years freelance/self employed.
Looking for a new housemate for a lovely two bed in BETHNAL GREEN, super close to the tube (5 min walk). Been here since summer 2024, great flat and area.
- Walking distance from Shoreditch/Hackney/Victoria Park/Columbia Road/London Fields etc.
- Closest tubes: Bethnal Green/Mile End/Stepney Green
- Overground: Cambridge Heath
Room comes Part Furnished, full flat is furnished.
- In the room, drawers, wardrobe, bed frame staying.
- You would need to bring or buy a mattress.
- Shared bathroom with me.
- Landlord is brilliant and very responsive.
About Me: I'm a 29 y/o cis woman working in the arts for 10+ years freelance/self employed. I either work away or in town, when I'm not on a job I either travel/spend time at home and run my illustration company from my room. I'm very creative and enjoy all pursuits that fit that vibe, love learning new skills and having fun. I'm not a big drinker, and I don't vape or smoke - HOWEVER I do have a lovely group of friends and I'd love to be able to host sometimes (after discussing your own needs at any given time).
YOU: Open to anyone of any gender identity, aged 26-35, working in any field. Ideally, would prefer someone who doesn't WFH or who only WFH part time. Looking for someone who is willing to create a nice home environment, have some cosy chats and help host the odd party once in a while! No pressure to hang out incessantly or share meals - I think alone time and independence is really key, but I am up for forging a friendship and a lush flat share experience. I'm totally happy for you to have friends/partner over to stay or a birthday/christmas party etc.
Heads up: your annual income needs to be about 33k to pass referencing, or you would need a guarantor. With pets it's not a total no go I don't think but would be at our landlord's discretion. And I am allergic to cats I'm afraid!
CAR: It is possible to get a parking permit for the borough but we don't have parking I'm afraid.
OTHER INFO:
- the flat is in a high rise.
-my flatmate is moving out but the landlord has requested that when the new tenant is decided that the contract will renew for a full year (rather than taking over the last five months of the current tenancy). So it will be a year from when you move in.
