Hello! We’re Em & Qasim and we’re looking for a friendly, considerate flatmate to share in our beautiful Bethnal Green flat. We’re ideally looking for a professional who doesn’t work from home full time, and is clean, tidy & respectful.
About us:
Qasim is 32yo, political risk analyst, working from home two days a week. In my free time I like to keep myself busy ticking off my cafe and restaurant list, cinema, a monthly gig is a must, pub quizzes, museums, and all the other good stuff London has to offer.
Em is 31yo climate communications and branding professional, doing her MA in creative writing part-time at Goldsmiths. In my spare time, I run poetry groups in Islington, and the Queer Poetry Collective, which is a good time.
About you:
We’re looking for someone chill, respectful, and tidy who has their own life but is also happy to have a glass of wine or chat in the kitchen when cooking dinner, and we all happen to be home. It’s a laid back flat, we have friends over for dinner occasionally and encourage you to do the same!
About the flat:
We have a cleaner come fortnightly to deep clean and do the bits we all hate (mopping), but we keep things clean in the interim and would appreciate someone who does the same. Qasim & I work from home 2/3 days a week (Em moreso), so would like someone who works from the office. There’s a communal balcony, but you would also have your own private balcony with this room. Bed, side table and desk pictured are our current flatmates and leaving with him. You’d be sharing a bathroom with Qasim. Good amount of storage space in the room, and in the flat.
