We’re looking for a new housemate to join our three bedroom East London flat filled with plants, natural light, and great sunset views of the city, from the end of December.
The flat is split over two floors and includes a large living area with a TV, sofa bed, dining area, and space to store your bike — plus a balcony perfect for soaking up the sunshine. The kitchen comes with two fridges (and freezer), air fryer, washing machine, stove & oven and all the usual appliances. The bedrooms are located upstairs with separate WC and bath/shower rooms and ample extra storage.
You’ll be sharing with Charlie (he/him), 31, who works in advertising, plays mixed tag rugby, looks after our ever-growing plant collection, and loves a good boogie — and Callum (he/him), 26, who works in fashion, often roaming the streets of east London sampling the best pastries and cafes, he’s a regular at run club, and catching up with friends at a cosy pub.
We’re a LGBTQ+ friendly, sociable but laid-back household that likes to keep the flat clean and comfortable. Every month we have a meal together — past highlights include Charlie’s croquettes and Callum’s tiramisu — which is a nice way to stay connected and catch up. Now and then, we’ll head out to a queer rave or one of the local parks in the summer months.
We’re looking for someone who:
✨ Enjoys spending time with flatmates but values personal space too
✨ Helps keep the flat tidy and homely
✨ Plans to stay longer than just a few months
Monthly rent is £905 incl bills (apart from gas & elec which is £30 on average each month, paid seperately). The rent includes a cleaner who comes fortnightly. The deposit is £700.
The room comes furnished with a double bed & mattress, clothing rail, desk & chair, storage unit.
