Hello!
Unfortunately, our time in London is coming to an end, but this does mean a great modern room will be available from mid-January 2026.
The room is located in Dressage Court, Bethnal Green, which was completed in May 2017. Both the Central line and the Weaver line are within a few minutes’ walk, and Whitechapel Station is less than 10 minutes away.
The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with an open-plan living room, kitchen, and dining area. The bedroom for rent has an ensuite, and the whole apartment is fully furnished with modern appliances. The apartment has ample heating, which keeps it toasty during winter, and it doesn’t get too hot in summer! The complex has its own gym, workspaces, games room, and a rooftop BBQ terrace which can be booked to host events.
You’ll be living with Billy, who is a 29-year-old professional from Australia. Billy has been living in London for the past two years, and she loves travelling and socialising. She works from home 1–2 days a week and is always up for a chat or a horror movie. She’s been super easy to live with, and we’ll really miss her.
About you – We’re looking for a couple, ideally professionals working full time, to take over our lease so the arrangement can stay the same. Single people are also welcome to enquire, but preference would be for a single person with a dog. We’re after someone who is easy to get along with, clean, respectful, and happy to have a bit of a chat.
Additional info – I’m not sure of the exact council tax amount, but for reference, we’ve been paying an additional £120 per person per month, which has covered all our bills and council tax. The lease is technically 12 months, but with the option of swapping out tenants at six months, which is what we’re doing as we’re moving back to Australia. You will need to provide proof of employment, right to rent, rental references, etc.
I can’t stress enough how much we’ve enjoyed living in this apartment over the last 7+ months. The building staff are absolutely fantastic, and they hold social events every few weeks — a great way to meet others in the building and make use of the amazing shared spaces. We’ve had Oktoberfest beer tasting, sourdough-making classes, and Christmas wreath decorating, just to name a few. Having a 24/7 reception has been an absolute dream — no missed packages, and any issues with the apartment are dealt with instantly.
When we first considered moving into this apartment, we thought it was way out of our price range, but we took the leap and have had zero regrets.
We hope there’s a couple out there who can enjoy this apartment as much as we have and call it home during their time in London.
