A double room is available in a large, well-located 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom flat on Cheshire Street, E2, right in the heart of Shoreditch. I currently live in the flat and am looking for someone to take the spare room on a short-term basis.

The flat is on the top floor and is bright and airy, with a spacious living room and a modern, partially separate kitchen equipped with contemporary appliances, including a dishwasher.

The property is approximately 750 sq ft (around 70 sqm) and also benefits from a private patio overlooking a quiet inner courtyard. There is allocated off-street parking available within a secure, automatically gated courtyard.

The location is excellent: Shoreditch High Street station is a 4-minute walk, and Brick Lane is just 100 metres away, offering markets, food spots, cafés, nightlife and restaurants. Despite the central location, the flat itself is calm and comfortable.

I am vegetarian and use the kitchen accordingly. I am therefore specifically looking for a vegetarian or vegan flatmate, or someone who already follows or is fully comfortable with a vegetarian/vegan household. The room would suit a professional looking for a short-term stay in London of a few months, for work, a project or a temporary base. I’m respectful, easy-going, and keep shared spaces clean, and I’m looking for someone similar.

Rent: £1,075 per month
Included: Water bills and WiFi
Not included: Electricity and gas (usually around £40–£60 per month in winter)
Council tax: Band D (Tower Hamlets), not included, split equally between tenants (approx. £73 per person per month)
