Large Double Room, Modern Townhouse Bethnal Green

Hello! We’re looking for someone to take over a large double room in our modern four-bed townhouse, available from 22nd May (we can be slightly flexible on dates if needed).

The house is newly renovated, spread over three storeys, and finished to a high standard. It has two bathrooms with showers, a high-spec kitchen, a comfortable shared living room, a sizeable private garden which gets sun for most of the day, and plenty of additional attic storage space. We get a monthly cleaner too, so it really feels like a proper home rather than a typical house share.

The location is excellent: around a 5-minute walk to Victoria Park, 5 minutes to Bethnal Green station (Central Line), 7 minutes to Cambridge Heath (Overground) and about 15 minutes to Stepney Green or Whitechapel (District Line). The street itself is residential and quiet, but there are loads of great independent cafés, restaurants and bars nearby. Shoreditch, Spitalfields, London Fields and Liverpool Street are also close by for shopping and going out!

The room is on the upper floor, faces onto the garden and gets lovely natural light. It comes with a double bed, plenty of storage, and there’s enough space for a WFH desk and chair if needed.

A bit about the housemates - they're three working professionals age between 29-32. The 2 guys are Irish and the girl is American, all have been in London for about 3-4 years. The vibe in the house is friendly and chilled - will do things together some evenings, like watching TV or heading to one of our lovely local pubs (The Camel / The Approach) - but everyone also has their own routines, whether that’s the gym, cycling, socialising or heading to events etc.

Sadly I've got to leave East to reduce my commute to work, so ideally the guys are looking for someone who’s a working professional, friendly, sound and clean - welcome to join in with anything they're doing, but equally there’s absolutely no pressure.
