Room in houseshare in Bethnal Green

Hi!

I’m looking for someone to take over my room in our 5-bed house in Bethnal Green, as I am sadly moving out. You’ll be living with four lovely people in a friendly, sociable house.

The house:
It’s very well connected. It’s a 6 minute walk to Bethnal Green tube (Central line), 2 minutes to Bethnal Green Overground (Weaver) , and about 10 minutes to Whitechapel, where you’ve got the Lizzie, District and Hammersmith & City lines.

The house has a living room, a big kitchen and a garden area, which we make the most of in the summer.

The room:
To be upfront, the room is very small, but the shared spaces and housemates (and lower rent!) definitely make up for it.

It came unfurnished, but I’d be happy to sell the furniture I bought as a bundle for a good price if you’d like it. Otherwise you’re welcome to bring your own. There’s also extra storage elsewhere in the house, including an additional wardrobe downstairs.

The housemates:
Ages 28-29, working in marketing strategy, PR, the civil service and as a creative designer.
Everyone met through SpareRoom over the years. Sinéad, Lauren and Dulcie have lived together for the last 5 years, and Naomi joined last year.

As a house they love games nights, pub quizzes, watching TV together and hosting the odd BBQ/party. They’re sociable but also respectful of each other’s space.

We’ve all become good friends from living together, so they’re hoping for someone to join who can be a friend as well as a housemate :)
