Description
Sadly my housemate of the last five years is moving out to go travelling/move abroad so I am looking for someone to rent the second room in my flat. I am pretty social and am often out in the evenings seeing friends or playing netball, so I'm keen to live with someone who is up for hanging out when around - cooking dinner together or trying the local pubs. It's not really a party flat, I like to keep the space clean and tidy, but am up for the occasional dinner party or night out dancing (watching a chick flick hungover the next day of course).
The flat is a 10 min walk from Bethnal Green underground and 15 mins from Cambridge Heath overground so is very well connected. Unfortunately there is no outdoor space but it is really close to Victoria Park (close enough to be in the resident zone for the festival tickets - we've managed to get free All Points East and Lido tickets before)!
The flat is on the first floor in a small block (no lift access) and has two bedrooms, one bathroom and an open plan kitchen-living space. The windows are all east/west facing so there is loads of natural light. I am keen for the space to feel homey so if you have any cute decorations, art or house plants they are more than welcome!
The room is part furnished with a bed, bedside table and wardrobe - the chest of drawers and desk in the photo will be going with my housemate. There's easily space to put a desk if you work from home ever. I work in Higher Education and am hybrid in the office about half the week.
The rent is £875 a month and bills come to approximately £120-£140 - covering WiFi, gas and electricity, TV licence, water and council tax. Move in date is from 13th September.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please drop me a message and tell me a bit about yourself x
