Description
Bright & Spacious Room in Bethnal Green | Available 1 October | Long-Term!
We're looking for a friendly new housemate to join our four-bedroom home in Bethnal Green. I’m leaving the UK and looking for someone to take over my room.
About the flat
The flat is a spacious, one level apartment, with plenty of natural light throughout. We have a large shared living room, a well-equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher!), two fridges, and one shared bathroom.
The location is hard to beat: we're just a 2-minute walk from Bethnal Green Underground station, 8 minutes from Bethnal Green Overground and a 15 from Whitechapel station. We’re within easy walking distance of Victoria Park, Broadway Market, Shoreditch, and everything else the East London loop has to offer.
About the room
The room is at the back of the house, with a huge window overlooking a green space. It’s semi furnished (by the landlord), with a king bed, huge mirrored wardrobe and small side table (the large mid-century sideboard is not staying). There is a smaller cupboard, that houses the boiler but adds additional storage space.
About the housemates
Tess is a housing lawyer, Georgia works in cooperate intelligence and Amy is a postgraduate student studying documentary photography.
We're a close-knit household who all met living here. We enjoy spending time together, whether that's the occasional dinner, pub trip, or catching up in the living room, but we also all have busy lives and respect each other's space.
About you!
We're looking for someone who's tidy, considerate, and keen to contribute to making the house feel like home.
Ideally, we're hoping to find someone aged 28–32 (around the same age as us). Someone who works from the office or has a hybrid schedule would be the best fit for our current setup.
Rent & bills
Rent: £987.61 per month (subject to change as we negotiate a new contract with our landlord)
Bills: Approximately £100-120 per month, varying throughout the year. This includes a fortnightly cleaner for communal spaces.
If this sounds like a good fit, we'd love to hear from you and tell you a bit more about the place! We're looking to hold viewings in Aug/September but will confirm depending on level of interest and after aligning summer diaries.
