Sunny double room in Bethnal Green house + Garden

Hello!

We have a sunny, freshly painted cozy double room available in our three-bedroom Bethnal Green house. The room is fully furnished, with a double bed, book case, wardrobe and shelves.

The house is right next to Weavers’ Fields - we are very close to Bethnal Green Road, Brick Lane and Shoreditch, and a 10 minutes walk to weekend markets including Broadway Market, Columbia Road Flower Market and Spitalfields.

Beautiful running routes to Victoria Park, London Fields, Regents Canal and Mile End park, and excellent transport links (Bethnal Green Tube/train, Shoreditch High Street Overground Station, and Whitechapel station are all a short walk away).

The house gets plenty of sunlight (when it appears in London!), morning and afternoon, with a large common living room space that opens onto a back garden. We are putting some love back into the garden this spring, hoping to make it a beautiful space to grow vegetables and herbs, as well as sunny summer afternoons.

We are relaxed, friendly, clean, open minded and mindful of what it is to share a living space with others. The house is our home, and we are looking for someone of a similar age, who works full-time, but would also enjoy contributing to a calm, respectful dynamic, with occasional dinner parties, friends visiting and hopefully some warm summer evenings in the garden!

About us:

You will be living with two women from international/multicultural/mu ltilingual backgrounds. One working as an academic/artist and the other working in an international development charity.

(*) Bills add up to around £75 a month, including Sky broadband. After the summer (September) we will be hiring a cleaner fortnightly for all common areas.

There is also an agency fee to sign onto the contract. Felicity J Lord are the agency, and their fee is £250. With VAT it adds up to £300.
