There is hard flooring throughout, so the flat is easy to keep clean (there is a cleaner that comes once a week, but the flat is generally kept tidy) and all windows are double-glazed. Liverpool St is one stop on the central line, and two stops the other way there is a large shopping centre in Stratford. There are lots of local markets on Bethnal Green Rd itself, as well as on Roman Road, Brick Lane, Columbia Rd and Spitalfields. There are lots of local shops, bars and pubs within 5 mins of the flat.
