Double room to rent in Bethnal Green, East London

Double room (11’x9’6”) in Bethnal Green available immediately for £850 a month excluding bills (roughly £75 a month).

The room is fully furnished and comes with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, separate cupboard, built-in shelving, desk and chair, two bedside tables and a built-in mirror – basically all the furniture/storage space you will ever need. I'm often told the room is much bigger than it looks in the photos! The window gets a lot of light and it overlooks a green space. We have central heating and there is a radiator in the room.

The flat covers two levels and is on the first floor of the building. It has two bedrooms, a separate bathroom and toilet, a balcony, and a kitchen including a dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc.

Bills are for electricity, gas, water, and internet (getting a cleaner occasionally is also an option we can discuss). Council tax is already paid.

The flat is in a nice area and is well served by plenty of shops and other amenities close by. There are lots of great places for food, bars and art/culture, plus various green spaces including Victoria Park and London Fields. It’s close to Brick Lane, Columbia Road and Broadway Market. There are plenty of transport links - it's 10mins walk from Bethnal Green, Shoreditch High Street, Whitechapel, Hoxton and Bethnal Green national rail, plus lots of buses - meaning that it's easy to get in any direction very quickly (30min to Oxford Circus, for example).

You’ll be living with Ruari - I'm from Scotland and in my late thirties. I'm pretty chilled out and like to be friendly and helpful to the people I live with :)

Requirements:
* Looking for someone to stay long-term, preferably at least a year
* One month's rent plus a deposit equal to the same is required upfront. Rent is then paid monthly in advance, with bills paid separately each month
* No pets
* No smoking within the flat (the balcony is okay)
