I'm moving into a huge house in Vanbrugh Park/Blackheath and looking for one other person to join me. The rent was advertised at £2600pm but I managed to negotiate and my biz will be paying most of it. I am going to use it to live and work in so will be replacing carpets & making some changes, that's why there aren't photos yet.

The floor plan has been annotated, but essentially the kitchen is on the ground floor with a toilet, then the living space is upstairs. Your room is a double (without built-in wardrobes and not huge) and there is another small room that has a wardrobe built in and can be used as an office/yoga room/small private room for you. I'm shipping all my stuff from San Francisco so we have furniture/art/a full kitchen and garden furniture so it feels like a home and not a rental.

The property has a large garden that isn't overlooked, gets morning & afternoon sun. 1 min walk to Blackheath. It's a steal for the size of the house/location!

Looking for a professional, not someone planning to bring people to the house for parties all the time, but is a sociable housemate.

I'm 37, spent years living in the US and excited to be back in London. When I'm not working on my startup I'll be out with friends, running or chilling with a G&T in the garden. I'm happy to alternate cooking a couple of nights a week if we're both home and in the mood to hang out together. I usually live alone so I'm more than happy to entertain myself but I'm hoping to find someone that I can socialise with.
