Ideally located in Zone 2, the house is 3 minutes’ walk from Lewisham rail, DLR and bus station, with its frequent, rapid connections to Charing Cross, Cannon St, Victoria, London Bridge, Waterloo, Bank, Docklands, Tower, and City Airport and 3 minutes’ walk in the opposite direction onto the heath at Blackheath. An on-street parking permit can be purchased.

The room is 4. 5m by 4. 4m, furnished in bamboo and pine, and includes an ensuite shower, toilet, and washbasin, and a kettle, toaster, and mini-fridge. You share a large kitchen-diner, laundry (Bosch washing machine and Miele tumble dryer), and the garden. You will need to provide your own bedding and towels.

A major Tesco is 2 mins walk, Lewisham centre is 5 mins walk for high street shops, a traditional outdoor market, and a leisure centre with pool, gym, and indoor climbing. Blackheath and Greenwich villages and Greenwich Picturehouse are 15-20 mins walk.

We keep sociable hours, are quiet, friendly, and tidy, with interests in cooking, outdoors activities, meditation, reading and cinema. The size of the house and the small number of occupants provide personal privacy, which we value, and our location is very secure. We are a writer and an editor. We enjoy friends' company but neither of us are party people. We are interested in sharing with another woman who does not work from home and who enjoys our kind of quiet, peaceful life.
