Description
We have a lovely double room available from 1st of August in a fully furnished 3 bed house in a quiet street. It's 5 mins walk from Blackhorse Road station (Victoria line) and a short walk to plenty of shops, restaurants, green spaces, market, breweries, gyms/pool/spa and a cinema. The transport is very good: tube, overground, buses and night buses are all available.
The room is on the first floor, is bright, warm and looks over the garden. The room has a double bed, 2 wardrobes, a chest of drawers, a bookcase and a bedside table plus extra space. You only have to share the bathroom with one other person.
There is a big & well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage (and a dishwasher and double hob!), a living room and a garden with decking. You can keep a bicycle in the garden and there is on street parking in front of the house but you will need a permit.
The bills are payable separately which comes to an approx £130-£150 pm per person, depending on season, but this includes gas, electricity, broadband (BT 500MB), water, TV license and council tax (band c).
We are looking for a friendly, tidy and respectful housemate who is ideally a professional worker who will treat the house like a home. We both work office hours in the day so our preference would be to have someone with similar working hours :)
We are two women (one Swedish and one Hungarian) working in the finance and food industry sectors, and we have one, low maintenance cat called Monty who lives with us. We enjoy the occasional dinner/drinks/film/board game together but equally like our own space and are happy to do our own thing. It is a peaceful place you can enjoy coming home to.
Rent is payable to the lettings agency at the beginning of the month. They will complete their due diligence checks from their side. The deposit is approx one & half month of rent, it will be put in the DPS and will be given back to you once you move out. They will request documents such as passports, payslips and references before signing the contract. The contract is for 12 months with 2 months notice period.
Currently one of us works fully remote based at home, and the other is hybrid.
We are going to start viewings from the 17th June during the week in the evenings and on the weekends. Arrangements will be made individually.
