We're excited to offer a sunny double room in our well-maintained 4-bedroom house! Our home has two bathrooms, a comfortable living room, and a large kitchen diner with a big kitchen island. We have a lovely garden, which you can access through bi-fold doors from the kitchen. It's finished to a high standard, with a spacious first-floor bathroom that includes a roll-top bath (dreamy!) and a second-floor shower room.
The room available is semi-furnished and comes with a wardrobe, set of drawers, and a bedside table.
We're a friendly bunch of professionals in our early 30s, working in design and sustainability. One of us works from home permanently so ideally we’d be looking for somebody who has hybrid working / spends most of their time in the office.
We enjoy cooking for each other, watching films together, and creating a welcoming, homey atmosphere. We love gardening and often spend time outside in our lovely garden. While we enjoy hanging out together downstairs, we also respect each other's need for alone time.
The house is just a 7-minute walk to a large Sainsbury's! We’re also close to nice coffee shops, workshops, and lots of breweries. We love going for a weekend brunch or walk together, or popping out for a beer or few at one of the local spots.
We have friends and family over now and again and treat it as a welcoming home for people to come to. We like to keep the house clean and tidy (as well as we can as a house of 4 working gals!), so it’s important that you can take the initiative to do the same.
We split the bills equally and pay a fixed monthly amount into a shared Monzo account which is currently £137 each per month which covers all bills and household good with a nest egg for any other house costs that come our way. we aren’t stingy with the heating in the winter, as we like to know we are all comfortable, but that has so far never cost us more than the fixed bill amount.
