Double room in newly-refurbished 2-bed flat

Hello everyone, I've got a double room available in a completely refurbished Warner flat in Walthamstow.

The room's a great size, but feels cosy. It's got two large windows and gets lots of light, but also a hedge outside for privacy. There's built-in storage, a chest of drawers, a bedside table and a side table which can be used as a desk. And lovely period features (like the amazing fireplace!) throughout.

The living room is a decent size and looks onto the back garden, so also gets plenty of light - and there's a wood-burning stove for winter. The kitchen is brand-new and comes with all appliances (electric oven, fridge/ freezer, microwave, dishwasher etc.). There's a washer/dryer in the bathroom, which has also been completely redone.

Out back there's a side passage and a garden (not in the pics) which admittedly needs a fair bit of work - it's a project! But there's space to safely store bikes and other items.

The flat is a literal minute from Blackhorse Road station (Victoria Line and Overground) and 10 mins the other way to St James Street Overground. 30 mins or less into the centre. There's a Co-op and a Tesco within a few mins walk, and a corner shop metres away. The area is super fun and there's loads to do, and is also right on the edge of all the fantastic green space in the Walthamstow wetlands.

My cat Marcel will be living here as well, when I manage to transport him from Cairo. He's a total sweetheart, and gets on with absolutely everyone.

I'm at the Foreign Office, and travel at times for work. I also work from home occasionally. But otherwise I enjoy exploring London's various cultural offerings, going to the theatre, concerts, gigs etc., buying books and finding I have nowhere left to store them, and generally hanging out. I'm looking for people who are ideally into some or all of the above, are relatively tidy (I'm not a dictator about it though, promise!) and don't mind a chat in the kitchen over a glass of wine.

All bills included and super-fast broadband too.
