Large double bedroom to rent E17

Large double room to rent in a beautiful Warner flat in E17, 5 mins walk to Blackhorse Road, 12 mins to St James overground station.

The room has just been repainted, fitted with a huge built in wardrobe and the window looks into the garden. It includes a bed and mattress (bought in 2023), if you want more furniture, this would be your responsibility.

The rest of the house is fully kitted and furnished. All the furniture belongs to me.

You would be living with myself (Marine, 43 years old, Creative project Manager) and Loki (the true boss of the household) my 16 years old cat.

I work 3 days a week from home, and the rest in the office.

I am quite laid back but a sucker for a tidy and clean space. Always open for a chat and a shared meal or wine but recognise everyone needs their space. I have become close friends with past flatmates, and like a friendly vibe in the house. I am into art, design, food, gardening and always up for a movie night. I balance my time socialising with some down time and can be found going to bed quite early when I need a reset.

I am looking for a like-minded person to share the flat and make it a beautiful and safe space to live in. Cat person is a must as the cat will make you his fall back servant if I am not available.

If you like to have people around all of the time, we won’t be compatible as I see the place I live in as my safe heaven where I retreat when I need to recharge.

It is also important for me to stress the importance of the house being a safe and inclusive space.
