Description
We have a good sized double bedroom available in a lovely apartment in the Blackhorse Mills development. As a resident, you'll have access to a gym, heated swimming pool, tennis court, communal spaces (lounge and co-working spaces), 24/7 concierge, secure bike storage and a roof-top terrace with views across London.
The apartment itself is in great condition with views onto the wetlands. The room comes furnished with a king sized bed with 4 drawers of under-bed storage, 2 bedside tables and an in-built double wardrobe. There is a communal kitchen, living room, laundry room, storage room and balcony which is shared between 3 people, and a bathroom which you'll share with 1 person. We are less than a 5 minute walk to Blackhorse Road station (Victoria line and Suffragette line) and within walking distance to the Walthamstow Wetlands and the independent cafes, bakeries and breweries the area has to offer.
You'll be living with Louise (a researcher in the third sector) and Gina (a psychologist in the NHS, also doing a PHD). We both work 9-5 jobs on a hybrid model and keep things chill at the apartment. As weekdays can be quite busy, we like to return home and wind down with a movie or/and a catch-up. We are looking for a professional flatmate who is clean, tidy and respectful and can go with the vibe of the apartment.
The rent is £864 a month with internet included. The rest of the bills, including council tax (band c) are split between 3. If you did move in, you will need to pay a deposit and pass Blackhorse Mills referencing process (this includes being on a permanent employment contract and references from previous landlord/lady/agency). The move in date is 23rd January with our tenancy running until 7th July 2026. There may be the option to extend.
