I’m looking for someone to take over this sweet room in Blackhorse Road for the new year!
Available as of Jan 25th, 2025, can be flexible about move-in date
Rent is £1275 and bills are usually around £125, sometimes a bit more in winter with heating
THE ROOM: Super spacious and lots of light! Queen sized bed with a closet, desk, 2 bedside tables and 2 bedside lamps. Big windows and very cozy!
THE FLAT: Very large living room/dining room with open floor plan. Big windows, great view, and a large balcony! We’ve never done much with the balcony but plenty space for some chairs out there if you’re into that. Living room has a tv and a sofa bed, which folds out to a double bed. Kitchen is nice and large with a dining table and new appliances, has a sizable fridge and comes with a dishwasher. New parts were installed in the kitchen sink just earlier this year. Lots of closet space in the hallways, and we have a washing machine.
Flat has 2 full bathrooms, one is part of the en-suite which belongs to my roommate, the other would be yours alone. All the fittings are pretty new, has a bath + shower, heated towel racks, and lots of cabinet space in the mirrors.
The flat is on the 14th floor so we have an amazing view, there’s also rooftop access on the 20th floor which has an even better view, with benches for hanging out. The building itself is also very secure, fob access is required to enter the building and to get to your floor. There’s a secure parcel box in the lobby as well that you can use to keep your parcels from getting snatched or left outside.
TRANSPORT: Super convenient, Blackhorse road station is across the street just a 1 min walk away, it has the Victoria Line (runs 24/7 on weekends!!) which can get you to central London in 15 min, plus an overground line that can take you toward north london & hampstead heath. St James station is also 10 min away which has the weaver line directly to Liverpool St. There’s a Tesco on the ground floor of the building, a Coop just 2 min away, plus an off license and other cute coffee shops. Tottenham Hale (1 stop away) also has a big shopping center right by the station with a large Lidl, Asda Home, and Tk Maxx. Walthamstow Wetlands, which are beautiful, are also just beside our building!
