Our best room is up for grabs! The wonderful couple that lives there is moving out of London, so we're ready for the next chapter. This room is a split level with a mezzanine, a sunset view to die for, and a spiral staircase. Yes, literally. It's upstairs in the main building, it's great, you're going to love it. This is up for around £1200/month.

The house is a beautiful big townhouse with a garden and a fire pit just opposite the Blackhorse workshop, which we never use, because we have our own! If you're a makery kind of person, you'll fit right in.

The room comes furnished, with the ideal person being encouraged to add stuff to it and go nuts. It’s a pretty flexible physical space. I own the house and have been renovating it bit by bit whilst living there, very much driven by the whims of whoever rents the rooms. This results in lots of fun crazy collaborative projects, with energy available for us to all to get involved.

Transport Links: 8 minutes walk to Black Horse Road Station (Overground and Victoria Line) 🚂 20 mins to Oxford Circus, 20 minute cycle to Epping Forest.

The Vibe: We've got a garden, a firepit 🔥 ample shared space 🏡, and a piano with a bar in it! We have relatively high effort parties every 3 or so months for Burner-adjacent-folk, but outside that we're all grown up and serious and work hard and exercise and eat our greens and all that stuff. We cook dinners, we go climbing, we play chess, music and video games. We have deep chats about therapy, entrepreneurship and philosophy.

You: We're ideally looking for someone who gets involved with the house vibe, be that making things, playing music, cooking communally, that kind of thing.

Local Stuff: We’re on the Walthamstow Beer Mile, right by Big Penny Social, and Blackhorse workshop over the road is a full blown professional workshop does the best coffee / hipster bacon sammidges in the world. Yonder is an awesome climbing gym 1 minute away and we’re 5 minutes from the entrance to the Walthamstow Wetlands 🌱.

Availability: From March 1st (willing to hold for the perfect addition)

Rent is around £1200 per month. This includes everything really: bills, Gigabit internet, council tax, and a bunch of stuff like a family spotify, youtube premium, a Smol eco cleaning subscription, toilet paper etc etc etc.

We'll be doing interviews and meet ups over the next month.
