Hey, I’m Rianna! I’m the current tenant in this property and I’m looking for a clean, considerate and easy-going housemate to share my home.

The house is a calm, friendly and respectful environment shared with me and my very sociable cat Kass. It would suit someone who enjoys a relaxed home rather than a party house.

This home will suit someone who values a peaceful, tidy living space and values good communication between housemates.

👋 About me

I’m pretty relaxed at home and spend a lot of time in the living room watching TV, cooking, or working on something. There’s always space for two, so sharing the living area is completely fine with me.

If we get along well I’m always happy to share the TV or watch something together, but I’m equally comfortable with someone who enjoys their own space.

I like to drink wine, play music and DJ, so sometimes I’ll have my decks out and practise or have music playing at the weekend, especially if friends are over. It’s always done considerately and I’ve never had any complaints! If you’re interested I’m also very happy to teach anyone who wants to learn.

If you have friends visiting, just let me know in advance. I’m usually downstairs in the living room but I’m always happy to be accommodating.

🐈 Cat Household

My cat Kass lives here and he’s my top priority. He’s nearly 2 years old, extremely friendly and very affectionate. He’s great with his litter and generally very easy to live with (although he’s getting a bit round now he’s been snipped!).

Kass loves people and will happily greet you, sit with you and generally make you feel very loved. He really enjoys having company around the house.

I’m sometimes at my boyfriend’s place overnight, so someone who is happy to give Kass some attention and feed him if I’m out would be hugely appreciated. He’s very much the king of the house and deserves to be treated like it.

Kass is also an indoor cat, so he must never be let outside.

Any new housemate must be comfortable around cats and kind to animals. Ideally someone who enjoys having a cat around and doesn’t mind the occasional cuddle from him.

This isn’t a party house. Friends visiting occasionally is completely fine, but overall the home is a peaceful place to unwind after work.

🤝 Housemate dynamic

I’m happy living with someone who enjoys their own space and independence, or someone friendly who’s up for the occasional chat or shared dinner.

As long as we have good communication and mutual respect, everything tends to run smoothly.

🌿 Garden

The house also has a large garden, which is great in the warmer months. If you enjoy gardening or looking after plants, that’s definitely a bonus but not a requirement.

🚇 Transport, Parking & Local Area

The house is about a 25 minute walk from the nearest station, so most people tend to take the bus. Luckily the bus stop is very close and buses run every ~7 minutes, taking about 5 minutes to reach Blackhorse Road station.

Blackhorse Road is on the Victoria Line, which runs 24 hours on weekends (Night Tube) and is one of the quickest ways into central London.

There is also free parking available on the street, so it works well if you have a car.

The area itself has a great local vibe. There are several microbreweries along the road nearby, which are really nice spots during the week or at weekends if you fancy a drink or somewhere relaxed to hang out.

🪑 Furniture

The bedroom is unfurnished, so you’ll need to bring your own bedroom furniture.

The rest of the house is furnished with my furniture, which I’m very happy to share so we can both enjoy the cosy living space. I just ask that everything is treated with care and respect.

💻 Office / Working from home

There is also an office space in the house, which you’re welcome to use if needed.

I work from home as a freelancer, so I do use the office at times. I’m very flexible about sharing the space as long as it isn’t dominated and we can both use it when needed.

Ideally I’d prefer someone who doesn’t work from home full-time, simply because I already work from home a lot, but I’m very open to finding something that works for both of us.

I’m a Black woman and I want this home to feel welcoming and comfortable for everyone.

I’m very open to living with LGBTQ+ housemates, and I’m also neurodivergent (ADHD) myself, so neurodiversity is completely understood and welcomed here.

This is a respectful and inclusive home, and I’m looking for someone who values that too. The most important things for me are mutual respect, kindness and good communication.

This will be a two person household shared with me.

I do have a boyfriend who stays over occasionally, but he doesn’t live here and this is very much our home environment.

I’m completely fine if a housemate has a partner visiting occasionally as well, as long as it’s on the same basis and the house continues to feel comfortable for everyone.

💷 Rent & Logistics

• Rent: £1,075 per month
• Deposit: £1,116 (protected in a tenancy deposit scheme)
• Minimum term: 6 months
• Available from: 2nd May

The tenancy will be joint with me, and reference checks will be carried out by the estate agency before moving in.
