A bright and cosy room is available in our LGBTQ+-friendly home in Blackhorse Road, Walthamstow.



Our recently renovated Victorian house offers plenty of space to relax, work and socialise, with a large kitchen-diner, separate living room, utility room, garden, garden room, and shared use of a walk-in wardrobe. We're looking for someone who wants a home, not just a room.



The Room

• Part-furnished with bed, mattress and desk

• Located on the second floor

• Shared walk-in wardrobe and additional storage space

• All bills included

• One month's rent as deposit



The House

A spacious three-storey Victorian home, recently renovated and located just off Blackhorse Road's famous Beer Mile.



Features include:

• Large open-plan kitchen and dining space

• Separate living room

• Utility room

• Two bathrooms (family bathroom with rain shower and bath, plus downstairs WC)

• Garden room

• Sunny private garden

• Shared walk-in wardrobe

• Smart lighting and heating throughout

• Cleaner for communal areas every three weeks



There are spaces suitable for occasional home working, but we're ideally looking for someone who doesn't work remotely full-time.



The Area

The house is just a seven-minute walk from Blackhorse Road Station, with Victoria Line and Overground services providing quick access across London. King's Cross is around 12 minutes away on the Victoria Line.



Nearby you'll find:

• Lloyd Park

• Walthamstow Village

• Tesco, Co-op, Greggs and Starbucks



There's also a bus stop directly outside the house with routes to Stratford, Blackhorse Road, St James Street and Chingford.



About Us

We're a friendly household who enjoy good food and drink, discovering new restaurants, theatre, travel, kitchen chats and the occasional binge of questionable reality TV.



We all have our own lives and routines, but we're sociable, get on well together, and enjoy spending time together. We'd love to find someone who'll fit into that balance and help keep the house feeling like a home.



The household is currently made up of three people, although one of us (the owner) works overseas and is only around for a few days each month (along with his French Bulldog!). 



Because of this, you'll usually be living with just two other housemates.



Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an LGBTQ+ or queer-friendly person who is:

• Clean and considerate

• Friendly and sociable

• Respectful of shared spaces

• Looking for a genuine home environment



You should also be comfortable around dogs, as our French Bulldog is a much-loved occasional visitor.
