Description
Hey there :)
We're Kabi (31) and Tammy (33), two friends looking for a third housemate to join us in our new home in Blackhorse Road.
We've recently moved into the house and are excited to turn it into a genuinely warm, welcoming home, and we're looking for someone to be a part of that journey!
The House:
£760pcm + bills (+-£100 depending on the season)
Deposit: £923
Council Tax Band C
Available immediately
5-minute walk to Blackhorse Road Station (Victoria Line, Weaver Line and Suffragette Line)
The house is a lovely Victorian terrace with:
3 double bedrooms (so only 3 people in the house in total)
A comfortable reception/living room
Bathroom with shower over bath
An additional small room that we'll use as a shared/rotating study space
Understairs cupboard and a small shed outside for extra storage
A garden with beautiful rose bushes, plus room for growing herbs and veggies if that's your thing
The Room comes with:
King-size bed
Brand new mattress
Under-bed storage
We also have a temporary fabric wardrobe available for you to use while you get settled in.
About Us
We're both originally from South Africa and have been living in London for several years (Kabi for 6 years and Tammy for 3).
Kabi works in academia and Tammy works in the charity sector. We both work from home a few days a week and enjoy a good balance of social time and personal space.
We're hoping to build a household that's creative, inclusive and community-minded. We're both vegetarian, and while that's absolutely not a requirement, we'd love to occasionally share meals and cook for each other.
Who We're Looking For
The main thing we're looking for is someone who wants more than just a room, they'd like a home.
We'd love to live with someone who's happy to chat in the kitchen, share the occasional meal, host friends for board games or movie nights, and contribute to a calm, considerate living environment. Equally, we're big fans of respecting each other's space and downtime.
As long as you're working full-time, friendly, and keen on communal living, we'd love to hear from you.
If you're interested, drop us a message telling us a little about yourself:
What do you do for work?
How often do you work from home?
What are your hobbies and interests?
What are you looking for in a house share?
Bonus points if you don't mind the occasional Springboks rugby match making an appearance in the living room
Looking forward to hearing from you!
