Recently refurbished double-glazed, spacious, light and airy double room, with sofa, on its own floor in a Regency maisonette in Bloomsbury 6 minutes walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras or Russell Square. Farringdon. Clerkenwell & Islington all close by.
Covent Garden, Holborn & Shaftesbury Avenue only 20 minutes walk away. Hi-speed broadband, tv and bills included.
This room is available from Monday - Friday for a professional female between the ages of 30 - 65. My preference for a female is because my 34 year-old daughter lives here, and having discussed it she feels more comfortable with this arrangement. This room is for one person only. The storage unit in the photos is for you to leave your stuff. There is also some wardrobe space (shared) directly by your room - see vid. The room has a sofa.
I am a 65-year old semi-retired photographer. I have had four successful lets to female professionals and can supply excellent references. The most recent was a 34-year-old linguist who lives in Thirsk with her husband and commuted down on Mondays and went home on Thursdays. Before that a 53-year-old CFO who lives near Manchester. And prior to that a 55-year-old conflict resolution lawyer from Dublin. You would be welcome to contact my previous tenants for reference.
I lead a quiet life and I am clean and tidy. I am also conscientious, reliable and friendly. And sensitive: if you prefer space and to be left alone I will not bother you.
I will however change your linen and clean your room once a week or two depending on how many nights you have stayed.
The bathroom and separate loo are on the same floor as your room. My room is on the floor above. My daughter and I will not use the bathroom- except on rare occasions, before 8.30am so, if you use it before then it will effectively be at your disposal. This arrangement has worked very well in the past as my previous tenants will attest.

I would be happy to offer you - suitable candidates, a four-night trial after which you can walk away if not satisfied, with no obligation. I would deduct a pro-rata amount for the nights you stayed from a £500 deposit and return the balance to you directly.
My daughter is a jewellery designer and has two very cute cats, Wednesday a moggy and Milou a ragamuffin.
