Description
Hello future flatmate!
My current flatmate is moving out, so I'm hoping to stay and find someone lovely to take her room!
Boring stuff:
Rent: £1300
Bills: ~£200-300 a month each, including gas, water, electric, internet and council tax
Availability: From 11th May
The Flat:
The landlord is lovely, the flat has been well maintained and is full of natural light. The flat comes fully furnished and is on the 3rd floor. We have a kitchen, bathrooms (split shower/toilet), a living room and a cupboard for storage. There is also room under the beds, and two wardrobes in the room for additional storage.
Location:
The location is amazing - about a 10 min walk to Holborn and Russel square stations, and 15-20 mins from Kings Cross and Tottenham Court Road. It's also right by Lambs Conduit Street and the Brunswick Shopping Centre - lots of cute shops, cafes, restaurants and a big waitrose! As well as this, Russel Square and the British Museum are on your doorstep.
About me:
I'm 27 and originally from Cambridge! I've been living in London for about 5 years working in tech in the city. I love travelling, staying active, live music, cooking, and the odd self care evening. Socially, I love a brunch trip, movie night, pub visit with friends, and the occasional night out. It would be great to find someone like-minded to share the flat with!
I'm hoping to find someone that can become a friend as well as a flatmate, having the odd dinner or pub trip together, and share evenings watching rom-coms, laughing over a glass of wine and/or complaining about work. Equally I think it's important to respect each others space, and appreciate the need for alone time.
I really love this flat and treat it as my home. I'm a tidy person and take care to keep the flat as clean and comfy as possible, so it would be great to find someone that will treat the space with the same care.
If that sounds good to you, please get in touch! Also very happy to go for a coffee and a chat to see whether we're a good fit.
Note: There is nearby construction ongoing for Great Ormond Street Hospital, which is active between 8am-5pm most weekdays. I often work in the flat during the day and don't find it disruptive, but if you regularly work from home and are sensitive to noise, this might not appeal. Outside of these hours, the area around the flat is very peaceful and quiet
