Cottage in Holborn

Double room available in three-bed cottage in Holborn.

We are looking for a third person for our amazing little cottage in Holborn. The house is a pretty unique little stone cottage - it has wooden beams and floors, sloping roofs etc.

The cottage is located off the road behind a small block of flats on Red Lion Street. It has three double bedrooms (all with slanted but high roofs) and one bathroom upstairs.

Downstairs there is a a shared sitting room with a couch and dining table, and then a kitchen with microwave, oven, gas hob, fridge-freezer, washing machine.

The cottage also has a private terrace outside with a barbecue.

Room is £176/week (£766/month) not inc. bills.

Holborn and Chancery Lane tube stations and Lincoln's Inn Fields park are all five mins walk away, British Museum, 15 from Oxford Street. There are lots of bars, pubs, restaurants, cafe's and gyms nearby, as well as a bunch of different supermarkets.

I am the current flatmate - I'm an environmental journalist from Scotland and have been living in London for a few years now. I play guitar, like books and films, and dance tango, and go to quite a lot of events and things. However I also love relaxing with a glass of wine in the evenings! I'm looking for clean and considerate but most importantly relaxed and friendly flatmates who want to make the cottage into a home.

The room is available from the 1st July, and will be on an initial six month contract. Any gender/sexual orientation/nationality/religi on is welcome, smokers are also fine but won't be able to smoke inside the house.

I'm afraid students won't be able to take the room for council tax reasons. Please also note the flat is let by an agency that will need to reference you.
