FLAT The whole flat is in a good condition. As the block of 4 flats are from a converted pub, the flat benefits from exclusive use (for the two of us in our flat alone) of a large patio outside as well our own lockable cellar downstairs (good for storing some things, though a little damp so not great for clothes or fabrics). The landlord is the charity who run all the lighthouses around the UK; the agent is literally across the road. The lease is technically for an entirely unfurnished flat. However, the communal areas and bedrooms were equally originally unfurnished but I have furnished these myself. The rent of the new tenant reasonably reflects this being furnished.

So the RENT is £1,400 per month plus bills. COUNCIL TAX and BILLS (gas, electricity, water, phone, wireless broadband and TV license) are around £150 a month each
