Room in Beautiful Georgian flat in Borough

We have one available room in our lovely flat in Borough. The flat is in a beautiful Georgian square just off Borough High Street. It has lots of character with a large living room, bathroom, and kitchen.

The room is a good-sized double with a large window, desk space, and good storage. The room will be furnished for a short-term let or unfurnished for a long-term let.

You will be living with Fran and Rob (not a couple!) who work in law and architecture. Having both lived here for 5+ years, we love to call this place home. The flat is laid back and sociable; we are often out doing our own thing but equally happy to hang out, go for the occasional flat dinner, or a drink at the local pub.

The square has a lovely atmosphere, and we have access to the private communal gardens, which are great in summer. There is also access to a secure garage for bike storage, and permits are available for car parking on the square. We have a very responsive management agency, so things get taken care of quickly, plus we have lovely neighbours in the building.

It is a brilliant area of London to live in. The square itself is quiet but close to links at Borough tube station, London Bridge, and Elephant & Castle. There are lots of great pubs and restaurants nearby, including Borough Market just a short walk away. We are also within walking distance of Tate Modern, the Southbank, the Thames, and Bermondsey Street.

We are looking for a friendly, fun person to join us from mid-September. All genders and sexualities are welcome! Initially, this will be a sublet for a few weeks, as the earliest we can change the tenancy is 1st November. The flat has a three-year tenancy agreement with a minimum one-year break.

The rent is £850 per month, and bills are paid separately. Bills total £120 - £150 per month for gas & electricity, water, council tax, and broadband. The rent is still low for the amazing location!
