Description
My girlfriend and I are looking for a flatmate to join us in our 2-bedroom flat, just 2 minutes from Borough Station and a short walk to London Bridge.
Our flat is a bright and airy maisonette with plenty of storage and a lovely communal garden that gets tended to weekly. It's a secure building with an external door that opens into the communal garden, which leads to our front door. We also have access to two private residential parks in Trinity Square, just a 2-minute walk away.
Our current housemate is going travelling, so we need someone to start a one-year lease from August 1 2024.
The room is a decent-sized, unfurnished, double which is large enough to fit a chest of draws, a bedside table and a desk (great if you need to work from home on occasion). It's cosy but bigger than lots of double rooms in this area (see floor plan). We also have a large lounge and kitchen with a dining table.
Ideally, we're looking for a working professional, not a student, in their mid-20s. We are both 25, I am a chiropractor based in Beckenham and my girlfriend is a solicitor.
We enjoy going out for food and drinks with friends (lots of great pubs nearby) or having a nice BBQ in the shared garden. We’re easygoing and like to socialise but also appreciate a quiet night in.
