Hi, I am looking to let the second bedroom in my 2-bed flat. Female professionals are preferred please. Sorry, no couples.
The location
The flat is a two minute walk from Borough underground station (Northern line) on a semi-pedestrianised (no through road) street. There are multiple brilliant pubs, restaurants, gyms, gardens, shops, delis etc literally round the corner. Borough Market is just an eight-minute walk from the flat. There are also three Sainsbury’s, a Tesco, and a large M&S within a 3-10 minutes walk.
The flat is a 10 minute walk from London Bridge underground (Jubilee and Northern lines) and London Bridge station. The City of London (Bank/Moorgate/St Pauls etc) is a 20-25 minute walk. The Tate, Tower Bridge, Elephant Park, and Waterloo are all in easy walking distance.
The room
The room is furnished with a double bed, a large wardrobe with an inbuilt mirror, a large chest of drawers, a wall shelf, and an in-built cupboard for storage which will be exclusively for your use, and in-built blackout blinds. The room is south facing and has a large window so gets lots of natural light and sunshine, especially in the afternoons.
The flat
The flat has a fully furnished communal living room and kitchen. You will have access to a private bathroom (there are two bathrooms in the flat). All bills, communal service charge, cleaner (fortnightly), council tax etc. are included. There is a private car parking space in an underground car park (an extra cost of £60 per month if required). I own the flat and have lived here for three years so it’s well furnished and very well equipped.
About me:
I am Aarti, 29 years old, and a Mechanical Engineer. I do a mix of working from home (I use a desk in my room) and travelling to the office. In my spare time I like to paint, sew, spend time in nature, dance, read, do woodwork, and go for walks.
About you:
I’m looking for a kind, easy-going person who is tidy and respectful of others’ space. I’m ideally looking for female professionals who only work from home on rare occasions. I dog-sit a very cute, super friendly spaniel once a week who sometimes stays overnight when her owner is away so being comfortable with dogs is a must!
I'm around for viewings anytime from 22nd August. The move in date is flexible.
