We have a double bedroom becoming available in our 3 bedroom rented house in the Southwark area. I am the current tenant and you would be replacing me on a joint tenancy agreement due to expire Feb 2025.

- Plenty of bus stops nearby
- Very well connected for commuting across the City

About the room:
- Double bed & mattress provided
- Large built in wardrobe
- Current furniture can be left on request (bedside table, bookcase, desk, storage).
- Space for a desk to WFH

Rent/bills:
- £934 pcm Rent
- ~£120 a month Bills (more during winter months as expected)
- Council tax band C

About the current housemates:
You'd be sharing with Patty and Lena, both 32 and working full time - Patty is a software developer and part time astronomer and works mainly from home and Lena is a full time secondary teacher so no WFH. The house is generally very quiet if you need to work from home. They are a couple but each have their own room for the extra space. They also have a friendly cat, Bagheera (who works from home all the time).

When not out doing hobbies / sports during the week the house is a place for housemates to relax and unwind, so this is definitely not a party house. However the occasional weekend dinner party or BBQ is hosted when the weather is nice and you would be welcome to as well!

We are looking for a quiet, clean and considerate housemate who wants to treat the house as a home. Ideally this house would suit an LGBTQ+ person or ally.

The room would be available end of September onwards but we can be flexible with exact dates.
