Hello flat hunters!
Our housemate is sadly moving out and so we have a double room available from 20th December.
The flat is lovely inside and out, and is split over two floors.
On the first floor, there's the kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, living and dining area (ft. TV with every streaming subscription going), one bedroom and private bathroom.
On the second floor are three bedrooms (including the one available), and another bathroom which you would share with one other housemate.
Also within the complex of flats is a private communal garden/courtyard with bbq area, parking, and secure bike storage.
The location is great - central with excellent transport links and loads of things to do close by, but still quiet and chilled. We’re a 5 minute walk from Borough Tube and 10 minutes from both London Bridge and Elephant and Castle.
And about us! We are Vesela (29, PhD student), Sarah (35, marketing account manager), and Joe (30, analyst). Sarah works from home more often than not, Joe is 50-50 in the office, whilst Vesela splits time fairly evenly between the lab and home.
Between us we’re into much of the usual stuff - food and drink, music, sports, exhibitions, Netflix, shopping etc. We all have busy work and social schedules, but enjoy a chat or movie night together and often share a meal or check out an exhibition.
We are looking for a flatmate in the same age range as ourselves (28+). Someone relaxed, considerate, tidy and friendly, who has lived in a flatshare before. We’d really like someone who wants to stay long term and be part of making the house a home.
The room we have is a furnished small double that comes with a small double bed, chest of drawers, freestanding wardrobe, and bedside unit.
The rent is £742 and bills are currently around an extra £120 per month each. This includes council tax (band F), TV license, energy and water bills, broadband, and a cleaner who comes once a fortnight.
We deal directly with the owner of the flat, (with the exception of reference checks and contracts done by an agency). Deposit is £735 and is in a secure deposit scheme.
