Description
Moving out of my room in central London (Borough), and looking for a guy to replace me and to move in July 2025.
Rent & Details:
- Circa £1,000 per month (before bills—plus circa £130 pp/pm), Requires affordability check
- Managed by a well-regarded letting agency – formal referencing & affordability checks will be required, with all standard right to rent documents needed.
- The room is a spacious double bedroom with big double-fronted windows
- Room comes with a large wardrobe and bed
The Home:
- A listed townhouse set on a quiet square, and with a private back garden perfect for summer evenings 🌿
- Separate kitchen, well-equipped for cooking, and a large, cosy living and dining space for relaxing and hosting
- Large shared bathroom with a shower, bath and toilet, second separate toilet
- Use of all communal white goods: dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer, and dryer included
- Well-equipped communal spaces – we have plenty of kitchenware, useful gadgets, much of which has been brought by other housemates but is for communal use.
Who You'll Be Living With:
- You’ll be sharing with three housemates - one guy and two girls, 25/26, one of whom has a partner who visits/sleeps over. We all have our own busy lives, but enjoy keeping fit, socialising, and also spending time at home.
- We buy communal essentials together (cleaning supplies, toiletries, kitchen staples like sauces, baking paper, etc.), and split costs via Splitwise, keeping things fair and easy.
- We all host our own dinners with friends occasionally with a polite heads-up to each other beforehand.
- Everyone mucks in on cleaning duties—we’re looking for someone who respects their space and cleans up after themselves to keep the home feeling great for everyone.
The Area:
- Nestled in a picturesque and peaceful square, this home offers the best of London living but in a secluded, quiet square.
- There are bars/pubs/restaurants nearby, as well as a couple of parks and gyms.
Transport Links:
- Borough Station – just a 5-minute walk, connecting you to the Northern Line
- Elephant & Castle Station – around 7 minutes walk, offering access to the Bakerloo and Northern Lines, plus National Rail services
- London Bridge Station – about 12 minutes away, linking you to the Jubilee and Northern Lines, plus major rail connections
Who We're Looking For:
Everyone in the house is a busy professional with independent lives, so we’re looking for someone already settled in London, 25+ (a guy, to keep the gender balance) with long-term employment and their own friendship circles. While we love hosting and having fun, we’re not a household where everyone relies on each other for their social life—we’re looking for someone who’s independent but happy to be part of a friendly home!
