Looking for a tenant to replace me at this lovely double room in Zone 1, about a 12-minute walk to Borough or Elephant & Castle tube stations. Rent is only £990 per month (bills not included, usually come to £90-100 per month). Very convenient for city professionals and students, with shops and cafés nearby at Elephant Park and Bermondsey Street.

The room is a spacious double and fully furnished. It has a very comfortable double bed with a good mattress, a large desk ideal for working from home, a big shelf, a mirror, one large wardrobe and one smaller wardrobe, plus additional storage with hangers. I’ve lived here for 1.5 years and very sad to leave the room for personal reasons.

The flat is a four-bedroom with a shared kitchen and living room, a small balcony, a bathroom with a toilet and an additional small toilet. There is a washer-dryer, bike storage and very fast, reliable internet, which has been great for working from home in my experience.

You’ll be sharing with two working professionals from Spain and one master’s student from the US. Everyone is friendly, respectful and the flat is generally quiet, especially during weekdays.

The deposit is one month’s rent (£990). There are no agency fees and the landlord is friendly and responsive.

My current contract runs until 31 August and can be renewed. The move-in date is flexible around mid-January.
