Hi! I’m currently living in this room and I am moving out of London for work. We have a lease with a break clause that will terminate in the beginning of March 2026, so you will be able to take advantage of the place for slightly over a year.
About the place:
- Separate washer and dryer
- Double bed with desk/wardrobe/dresser provided - office chair is mine but happy to sell for cheap. I’ve got a new desk for the room I haven’t yet set up but that would be nicer than the current one.
- Not en suite, but you would basically have your own shower and bathroom as you’re the only one on the floor
- We have a massive garden with a fire pit (see pictures!)
- Large island concept living room/kitchen
About costs -
- 833.33 pm rent (payable monthly)
- Roughly 65 pm for CT, 70-80 monthly for bills
- 726.92 deposit (protected under a DPS)
- Andy pays for the Internet so that is free
About the location
- 10-12 minutes walk to Bowes Park (direct train to Moorgate)
- 15 minutes walk/5 minutes bus to Bounds Green (Piccadilly line, with easy access to Victoria line at Finsbury Park).
- A Big Morrison’s and two Tesco Expresses 15 minutes walk away,
- Buses also available to the city from a nearby bus stop
- Safe and quiet street, but very well connected (near Bounds Green, Palmers Green, Green Lanes etc)
- Near so many beautiful parks! We are close to Broomfield Park and Alexandra Palace
- Very neighbourly and close street, we know our neighbours and they are really lovely
About my roommates and landlord
- Daisy (mid 20s) is a sex health educator. She bakes sometimes too (very well!)
- Andy (mid 60s) is a law professor. He’s incredibly friendly and wise
- Paul is our landlord. He’s been incredibly helpful and responsive to us, and has been quite proactive when we’ve had issues, which is rare for London landlords
It’s been really nice living with them, I’m quite sad going. Our neighbours are also amazing!
About you
- Move in from Feb 5 (our target, pending Right to Rent checks and other pre lease checks). There is some flexibility around this date but not that much
- Video/in person tours until first week of Jan (I prefer video as I am quite busy with exams but I understand people may want to view in person).
- If you like the place, you would need to let me know ASAP so we can organise a call with Daisy and Andy so they can make sure they’d be fine with living with you

- no pets now (as the listing says, but Daisy may get a whippet - a very calm and docile dog - soon, so please be aware if you have allergies etc)
