Description
I have a lovely en-suite room available in a two bedroom / two bathroom flat place in Hackney Wick.
I have lived in (rented) the apartment for around 17 years and very much call the place home, so looking for someone to share who will also call it home.
It’s a large, light double bedroom with fully equipped en-suite toilet and shower, with use of the main bathroom which has a bath and washing machine / dryer.
The flat is located on the 2nd floor of a modern new build in a secure gated building, situated on Regents Canal in the Fish Island district of Hackney Wick, Bow. There’s A local convenience shop situated directly underneath the building, 5-10 min walk from Hackney Wick station, 339 busy stop directly outside and 10-12 min walk from Bus stops 8, 26, 30, 388, 276 (with good night bus service) a short walk along the canal to Victoria park and 15-20 mins walk from Westfield, stratford
The flat is very large and spacious, with wooden flooring throughout and underfloor heating, a modern kitchen in a large open planned living room, which also has a balcony overlooking the Olympic Stadium. The flat is fully furnished, partly with my own furniture and part from the landlord. The bedroom itself comes furnished with Bedframe, (without mattress) and wardrobe.
You would be sharing with just me & my cat. I’m a full time DJ and promoter on the queer scene, but work from home during the week. I do have DJ equipment set up in the house, but my flat is my sanctuary not a party pad, I keep the club and party at work and my home as a safe-haven so and am looking for someone who has similar views.
I'm looking for someone who is clean, tidy and respectful but also enjoys the odd natter on the sofa with a cuppa tea and perhaps the odd night out. Must be LGBTQ+ or queer friendly.
The rent is £1100 a month plus bills which are £250 (including broadband).
The flat is through a private landlord, who is very friendly and nice to deal with, but does require references and credit check.
My flatmate has already found a new place to relocate, and is moving out at the beginning of October, when I will be away, so move in date from around Oct 10th.
