Double room in Bow

A double room in a 4 bedroom town house, in a gated complex in Bow, all bills included, for a female age 35ish-45 ish.

Sharing with Christian 43, Maria 38 and Morgane 36 - all friendly professionals who work 9-5ish. We're into the usual kind of things - galleries, the arts, music, travelling, cooking. We like to think we are a friendly house and pretty laid back!

The room is a double and has a double bed and wardrobe/drawers. (current housemate is selling a desk and a few bits of furniture if you're interested). The rest of the house is fully furnished.

Lounge with TV (and a million houseplants), separate fully equipped kitchen . We have a lovely garden - it has a seating area and BBQ with room to store a bike in a bike tent (we have a no bikes in the house rule). There is a toilet downstairs and the 3 housemates share the bathroom on the top floor (Maria has an En suite). The house has fibre optic broadband, double glazing, and fixed electric heaters in each room.

We have a lovely cleaner that comes every 3 weeks (we pay £7.50 each) but we like to keep the house clean and tidy in-between so it’s super important that you are also clean and tidy too (we have a cleaning rota). We all work Mon-Fri so this is definitely not a party house; we occasionally have friends over for dinner or wine and sometimes like to hangout on an evening.

Christian has a cat, Linda, but she’s very much a house cat. She’s wicked, super friendly and loves to sit on your lap if you’re watching TV, basically if you don’t like cats or are allergic – this probably isn’t the house for you!

We are in zone 2 and less than ten minutes walk from Bow Road tube station (District line and Hammersmith and City) and Bow Church DLR.
Just over ten minutes walk to Mile End Tube Station (Central Line, District and Hammersmith and City) and 15 minute walk to Hackey Wick.
2 minutes from bus stops on Roman Road, you can get a bus to Shoreditch, Central London ,The City - all really easily on the No 8 (and N8 night bus runs 24 hours).Roman Road has a local market 3 times a week, lots of shops, a Library and more importantly the area has loads of nice pubs, coffee shops and places to eat. We are also 7 minutes’ walk from Victoria Park.

Deposit is one month’s rent. Rent is £780 per month including all bills. The landlord will need to see a pay slip.
