Large double room in friendly flat

Hi! We, Anna (27) and Hannah (27) are looking for a lovely flatmate to join us in our flat in Bow. Current flatmates Imy and Ellie are moving out to live with their partners in August, our mutual friend Grace (26) is replacing one of the rooms and now we are looking for our final fourth member!

Females preferred please, ideally in our age range of 26-28 ish. Sorry no students.

The room is a large double (biggest in the flat) and comes fully furnished with a desk, chair, 2 sets of wardrobes and chest of drawers. It has lots of natural light and a huge floor space.

Rent is £800 + bills (which come to £80-£100 a month and a bit more over winter). The room is available from the 1st August 2024.

The flat is split over two floors and consists of a kitchen, spacious living/dining area, and bathroom (plus a small balcony). Please note that the flat is located on the 2nd/3rd floor of our building and there is no lift so two flight of stairs to access the property.

The flat is located in Bow, East London just off Devon’s Road with great transport links. Bow Road (10/15 min walk) and Mile End (20 min walk) tube stations have links to the District, H&C and Central lines, whilst Devon’s Road DLR is only a 5 min walk away, and there are plenty of bus stops too.

All supermarkets are in walking distance, including a Big Tesco and a Lidl. Other amenities nearby include gyms, pubs, parks, cafes, and Westfield shopping centre (10 min on the DLR).

On-street parking is also available (permit required).

We are all working professionals (Charity / Civil Service) and are looking for another professional to join us. We have lived here (in various iterations) for three years now and all met on Spare room with great success :) We are friendly and sociable - always up for drinks at the pub, a flat dinner and movie night-in, or a Park run!
