Both of my flatmates are sadly moving back home so there are two rooms available in the flat, one small and the other king-sized.
The small room is £775 pcm, while the king-sized is £1075 pcm. Bills are around £100 each pcm (including the utilities and council tax), probs less in summer.
Both rooms come with a bed and a built-in wardrobe. The small room won't fit a desk but there's plenty of space in the flat.
The three bedrooms are on the second floor, along with a bathroom and storage space. The first floor is the kitchen and spacious living room, plus a toilet. There's also a garden at the back of the house.
The flat is in Bow off Roman Road, a 10-minute walk from Victoria Park and Bow Road Station.
The move-in date is 1 July but I need your confirmation by the beginning of June so that the agency can run reference checks before you move in.
You'll be living with me, Evelyn, a 28 yo Taiwanese. I enjoy running, cycling, film photography and all things creative. Working as a project manager in localisation and marketing, I'm in the office 1-2 days a week.
I'm hoping to live with those who have common sense (e. g. keeping noise levels down at night, giving heads up to each other if guests are visiting or staying) and clean as you go. Please only get in touch if you're happy to take the initiative to keep the house clean and tidy. I'm also open to having a cleaning schedule or arranging a monthly cleaner if needed.
Just so you know, this is a joint tenancy. You'll be on the contract as well but the agency prefers to have only one point of contact to pay the rent and report any issues. I'll be paying the rent and bills on our behaves.
Rent payments must be sent to my account no later than 5 working days before the 1st of each month so I can send the total to the agency.
Your deposit will be sent to my account initially and the total of ours will be transferred to the deposit protection scheme. Upon moving out, you’ll receive your deposit back from the incoming tenant. Any disputes regarding the deposit will be handled according to TDP.
