Description
Hi everyone!
I have to move to Devon for work in January, so unfortunately must sublet my room from January (can be a bit earlier if needed) to end of August (possibility to take over lease from then).
The room has a large private bathroom, double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. More storage available if needed in living room wardrobe.
The flat is set up with:
- a private parking space in the basement of the building!
- a living/kitchen space (full kitchen, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer, and washing machine)
- a small balcony off the living area
- a space for storing your bike.
You would be sharing with Rubin a lovely, tidy 24 y/o professional from The Netherlands, who has his own bathroom (see end of post for an intro from Rubin)
Details:
£1000 - rent for double bed and private bathroom
Bills range around £80-£100 max per person pcm (Internet - 26 per month; Electricity and gas - 50; you don't pay for water)
Council tax band D
The landlord will require proof of salary, employment reference and tenancy reference, so if you could get those docs sorted ASAP, it will make the process much easier (we will prioritize those who have these docs already).
The bedroom and living room is furnished with my furniture, which will be left in the flat so there is no disruption for my current flatmate, and to make it easier for future subletter.
To make the process easier, the landlord will keep my full deposit (1250), but I will ask the subletter to send me a small deposit (500) to ensure my furniture and the flat is well taken care of during the sublet, so I don't lose my own deposit (hope this makes sense).
Location:
E3 2ST
10 min walk to Victoria Park
15 min walk to Hackney Wick
15 min walk/ 5min cycle to Bow Road Station (District + Hammersmith & City lines; DLR ) and 1-stop connection to Central line.
Buses within minutes that take you across the city
Minutes away from Roman Road Market!
In-person viewings will be arranged on Sunday 24 November.
Please tell me more about yourself in your message, ideal move in date, etc. Looking forward to chatting!
Thanks :) 🌻
Hi all,
My name is Rubin. Im a 24-year old Dutch guy who works in Finance. But I haven't sold my soul completely to the capitalism yet. I have a background in environmental science and I try to use this in my work. During the week im mostly at the office. During the evening I like to go to the gym/watch some netflix or grap a pint in the pub. Other than that I like to travel, go to a museum and party from time to time. I speak English, Dutch and a good amount of German.
As a roommate I think its important to keep the common areas clean and just respect each other. Good communications helps a lot.
Cheers,
Rubin
