We have a very spacious, airy and light double room and accompanying study available from September in our lovely terraced house in Bow.

Rent: £1200 pm plus bills
Bills: roughly £120pm (council tax band E)

The room is on the first floor and looks out onto a quiet, tree-lined street of terraced Edwardian houses. It is fully furnished and comes with a double bed with a firm and comfy mattress, side tables with lights and two chests of drawers. The room gets a lot of light due to the big windows, has exposed pine floorboards and a lovely original Edwardian fireplace with surrounding tiles. The study comes with a desk and a large wardrobe.

We are close to Bow Road (10 mins walk) and Bow Church DLR (5 min walk), with Mile End, Stratford and Victoria Park not too far away.

Downstairs is a very large open plan shared space, with a cosy living room and a spacious dining and kitchen area, with doors opening out onto the garden. We have a fully equipped kitchen which has all the usual appliances (washing machine, separate dryer, oven, gas hob, large fridge and freezer), and an island with high stools. Across the ground and first floor, there are two shared bathrooms, both with showers, the upstairs one with a bath.

About us: we’re Dom and Amy, two friends who have been living in our lovely house for the last two years. We’re both young(ish) professionals who like catching up after work whilst we cook dinner or getting a pint at one of our nearby favourites, but we also have separate interests and enjoy our own space. We’re looking for someone to move in who is up for a chat and hanging out, is clean and tidy and who will enjoy our home as we do!
