Double room available in Bow

The Room:

One double room available in a two bed, one bathroom flat. Comes with a double bed, wardrobe, and desk as well as a tv and stand. The bed has one drawer underneath for storage and there is room if you want to buy a dresser.

Cost:

Rent is £986 for the room plus circa £225 for bills (gas, electric, water, WiFi, and council tax). A little extra probably in the winter. (My housemate likes to keep our boiler on / forgets to turn it off a lot so I’m anticipating the gas will lower when she goes).

Me:

You would be sharing with me! I’m 30, Irish, bi, and work in the office 3-4 days a week. I’m a bit of a home bird so like to have a chill place to relax in the evenings, but friends are of course welcome in the flat! I also travel monthly with work or home to Ireland so you’ll definitely get some space if you need it!

Flat:

The living room is spacious enough that you can have a work space in here too. You can see from the pics that me and my current housemate have working spaces there. She will be taking her desk (right side) from the living room but there is a spare one you can use also for that area.

There is a little balcony in the living room and a big tv for film nights 😍 it’s the top floor and generally very quiet around.

Kitchen has a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and some storage space too.

Transport:

We are less than 5 minutes from the DLR at Bow Church/Devons Road. 10 mins from Bow Road (district and hammersmith), and 20 mins from Mile End (central). There are also plenty of busses and you can get to Hackney Wick in around 20 mins.

Shops:
There is an Asda Express 5 mins away and a big Tesco around 15 min walk away. Plus a few cafes, bars, and restaurants too.
