Looking for a new flatmate to share my recently refurbished top-floor flat in Bow. The double room is fully furnished with brand-new furniture (bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, and carpet), WiFi-controlled electric central heating, and blinds being installed early January. The shared bathroom has a shower and bath, plus a brand-new heated towel rail.

The flat has a spacious open-plan living room and kitchen with plenty of storage and a fully equipped kitchen (you’re welcome to use my utensils!). There’s a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and a big fridge/freezer. The living area includes a large comfy sofa, dining table, and Sky TV.

One of my favorite features is the large balcony – it gets sun all day and offers views of The Shard and O2. The flat is peaceful, well-insulated, and located on the 5th floor of a new-build (with a lift).

The location is amazing – less than 10 minutes to Bow Road station and Victoria Park, with Mile End about 15 minutes away. Travel connections are excellent (District, Central, Hammersmith & City, and DLR lines nearby). The area has a great vibe, with Roman Road’s foodie spots and Hackney Wick both within walking distance.

A bit about me: I’m a 31-year-old queer woman working in creative strategy at an advertising agency. I’m usually in the office 3-4 days a week and often out in the evenings. I love being active (currently obsessed with spin classes and play netball), cooking with friends, and going to queer events. Having shared flats in London for over 10 years, I’ve made some great friends and would love to find a flatmate who’s keen to create a friendly & comfortable home.
