I’m off to pastures new, so there’s a room going in this beautiful two-storey Victorian home for one person to join Monica. No couples living in, just looking for someone chilled who’ll appreciate the space. This is a calm home, not a party house.
Your Room
Seriously spacious double overlooking a classic Victorian street. Furnished with wardrobe, bed, bedside table, and loads of built-in shelving. Natural light pours in. Genuine space to spread out; perfect for WFH setup, cosy retreat, or yoga.
I’m discounting the rent for the remainder of the existing contract (until 23rd June 2026). You’ll pay £1,325/month instead of the usual £1,425/month (agreed in the current contract). If you decide to renew with Monica, you’ll agree to the standard rate as proposed by the agency.
The Massive Plus: The Garden
Proper outdoor space with fairy lights, decking, and mature plants. A total sun trap gets sun from late morning to evening. Perfect for summer BBQs, a lazy afternoon with a book, or just catching those rays. Having a garden like this in London changes everything.
About Monica
28, Creative Producer (office-based Mon-Fri), keeps things relaxed at home. Some of the things that light her up are cooking, board games, reformer Pilates, and nestling with a good book. Friendly, independent, and appreciates a relaxed vibe.

• Buses 277 & 425 (5 mins walk): Clapton and Hackney
The Details
• Rent: £1,325/month for March, April & May (discounted for remainder of existing contract)
• Bills: ~£150/month (council tax, energy, water, WiFi)
• Deposit: £1,442 (TDS protected)
• Move-in: Mid-March (flexible for the right person)
• Taking over my spot on the existing contract (final payment 24th May)
• New contract starts 24th June – option to renew with Monica
• I’ll cover the contract name change fee
